The stamp depicts a part of the facade and the collage image of the halls of the S. Paradjanov Museum . Sergei Parajanov (January 9, 1924 – July 20, 1990) was an Armenian artist and film director who made significant contributions to Soviet cinematography through cinema. He invented his own cinematic style. His controversial lifestyle and behavior led Soviet authorities to repeatedly persecute and imprison him and suppress his films. Parajanov's films won prizes at several international Film Festivals.
